Juicy, Tangy, Irressitable – Mumbai Street Food, Chicken Frankie!

1 Step

Cut chicken into 1 1/2 inch pieces. Apply lemon juice and keep aside.

2 Step

Heat oil in a kadai. Add onion and saute for 4-5 minutes. Add Ginger Garlic Paste and fry until the raw smell goes out.

3 Step

Add chicken pieces and saute for 2/3 minutes.

4 Step

Add salt, corriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix.

5 Step

Add tomatoes and cook until the chicken is tender

6 Step

Add coriander leaves and mix. Cook till dry. Keep aside.

7 Step

Roast Tortilla one at a time on a hot pan. Whisk the eggs well ,add salt and pepper. Pour some egg on the Tortilla and allow it to set. Turn over and let the underside get cooked.

8 Step

Place the Tortilla egg side up on a serving plate. Place some chicken mixture on on end. Sprinkle some onion over the chicken. Drizzle some vinegar and green chutney(optional) .

9 Step

Roll the frankie and serve hot immediately.
